Out Of Bounds (rule 27-1)
Beyond all boundary hedges and fence
Beyond the marker line behind the 9th/18th green
Beyond the white marker posts behind the 6th/15th green
To the left of the white marker posts when playing from the 9th tee
To the right of and behind the white marker posts on the 4th/13th holes
Water Hazards (Rule 26-1)
All ponds defined by yellow posts.
Under penalty of one stroke, drop a ball behind the water hazard. Drop as far back as you wish, keeping point of entry behind you and the hole.
Alternatively, the ball may be played from within the hazard without penalty; however, the club must not be grounded when playing the shot.
Lateral Water Hazards (Rule 26-1)
Defined by red posts.
Under penalty of one stroke, drop a ball within two club lengths from point of entry – not nearer the hole.
Immovable Obstructions (Rule 24-2)
All paths, roadways, course furniture and flower beds.
Lift and drop the ball without penalty within one club length of nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.
Staked Or Young Protected Trees (Rule 24-2)
Lift and drop the ball without penalty within one club-length within the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.
G.U.R. & Animal Scrapes (rule 25-1)
Lift and drop the ball without penalty within one club-length within the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.
Dress
All players must wear golf shoes.
Smart dress only is allowed on the course.
Tailored shorts are acceptable.
Collarless shirts, football shirts, jeans, etc. are not allowed.
Shirts must not be removed.
Play
Green fees must be paid before play commences.
Maximum number of players per game is four.
All players must have their own bag and clubs.
Please keep up with match ahead of you.
Slow play will not be tolerated; if you lose more than one hole on the game in front, you must call those following you through.
Distance Measuring Devices
Distance measuring devices are not permitted on the course except when players are taking part in Official Inter-Club Matches which are run under the auspices of the GUI.
Such devices must conform to the conditions as set out in Rule 14-3.
Please repair all pitch marks, replace all divots and rake bunkers after use.
Do not drive until players in front are out of range.
Please play with courtesy to others at all times.
Please remember that your own safety and the safety of others is your own responsibility.
Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated at any time.

The rules of golf as approved by R & A Rules, Ltd (except for local rules) apply at all times. It is the responsibility of each player to familiarise him/herself with them.
