Clogher Valley In Good Form

Last Sunday the return match of the Conway Cup took place at Clogher Valley Golf Club with Omagh GC the visiting team. A super match played by all; the back nine was very tight. A great second shot by Peter McGirr with a sand wedge over the hedge to land on the green put Clogher Valley in a good spot on the last hole. It was Peter’s putt that secured their first win over 18 holes. The rest of the players didn’t know what way the match was going, until Team Captain Tony Fee called the last group in off the 15th hole. Great excitement when the result was revealed! ¬†Clogher Valley 10.5 ¬†Omagh 5.5.¬†Congratulations to team Captain and the players.
