Results : Derek (Dick) Morrow Memorial Shield

Thank you to everyone who took part in the Derek (Dick) Morrow Memorial Shield Competition held last weekend and congratulations to all  the winners. A fantastic score of 49pts for winner William Mayne!!

Our thanks also to the family of the late Dick Morrow for their hard work leading up to the competition. It was good to see such a good turnout for this special event, which was in aid of Alzheimer’s Research.

Course Reopens Friday, 11th February 2022

I am delighted to advise that the essential works to the greens and course have been carried out and we are now in a position to re-open the course on Friday 11th February.
Please remember to book your tee time in advance using Club V1 which has been re-instated or by telephone. This is necessary for Covid and insurance purposes.
Membership fees are now due and must be paid before play. Consequently, if you haven’t already paid please make sure that you bring your fees. You can pay by cash, cheque or card. Any member who hasn’t paid by Friday 25th March will be removed from Club V1 and Golf Ireland systems as the Club is now liable for members’ Golf Ireland Affiliation Fees from 1st April each year. If you have decided not to join again this year I would appreciate if you could let me know.
The Information and Fixtures Booklet for 2022 will soon be available in the Office. In the meantime, Captain Ian’s Drive-In is scheduled for Sunday 20th March. I hope you will be able to support this special event which marks the beginning of our 2022 golfing year.
